Monkey Fist Fire Poi burn with beautiful symmetrical flames which look like comets leaving a burning trail behind them.
These Fire Poi are made using Kevlar rope wick tied in a knot called a Monkey Fist. There is no wooden ball or metal core in these Poi, only fuel absorbing wick which reduces the risk of burns and bruises.
