These fire poi are made using 13mm kevlar rope wick tied in a knot called a monkey fist. There are no wooden balls or metal cores in these fire poi only fuel absorbing wick which reduces the risk of burns and bruises.
This design of fire poi with 13mm kevlar rope is big, beautiful, bright and makes a great visual impact. However when soaked with fuel they are heavy.
